After the rise came a fall, though, and the stock dropped as much as 50% this quarter. The stock's precipitous rise over the past 3-4 years has attracted a lot of attention, as it gained ground with artificial intelligence chips and also caught a tailwind from crypto. Nvidia ( NASDAQ: NVDA) is a stock that has a lot of ideas on it, many of which are not well received and many of which are. But the fun thing about the stock market is that the results matter, and ultimately, people's ideas are proven right or wrong (or at least, somewhat right or somewhat wrong). You can't please all the people all the time, especially when different people say different things.
It's what makes a market and the nature of a crowdsourced platform. A lot are not well received by different audiences. Seeking Alpha puts out a lot of ideas, and a lot of those ideas are well received by different audiences.
